Anti-Violence Project (AVP) 
AVP is a crime victim service agency serving primarily lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and HIV-positive (LGBTH) survivors of hate crimes, domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes. AVP's wide range of services include crime prevention & education, a 24-hour bilingual (English-Spanish) hotline, peer-to-peer support groups, and accompaniment to and advocacy with police, the courts, and other service providers. http://www.lambda.org/avp_gen.htm
